About This Tour
Highlights:
Lingaraj Temple: The most prominent and largest temple in the city, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is an absolute masterpiece of ancient stone carving. (Note: Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main sanctum but can view it from a designated viewing platform).
Rajarani Temple: Known as the "Love Temple," famed for its intricate carvings of women and couples, built from dull red and yellow sandstone.
Nandankanan Zoological Park & Botanical Garden: A massive hit if you love nature or are traveling with kids. It is globally renowned for its successful breeding of White Tigers and Melanistic (Black) Tigers. You can also enjoy a quick tiger or lion safari here.
Puri: Visit the sacred Jagannath Temple (one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites) and relax by the waves at Puri Beach or the cleaner, quieter Golden Beach (a certified Blue Flag beach).
Konark Sun Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage site shaped like a giant chariot for the Sun God, featuring incredibly detailed stone wheels and pillars.
